Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini – alle Infos zum kleinen Bruder und ein Kommentar

Samsung lud zum Event und viele machten sich auf den Weg nach Frankfurt in den dortigen, wirklich schön gemachten, Samsung Store im 7. Stock der Zeilgalerie. Für eine Weltpremiere war aber nicht sehr viel los, auch wenn der Rahmen absolut gestimmt hat. So ein S3 Mini ist halt ein bisschen was anderes, als seinerzeit das S3 mit seinem genialen Ritterevent. Egal. Unterm Strich interessiert uns nur, was dabei herum gekommen ist.

Noch im Oktober kommt es in den Handel. Der Preis liegt bei 439 € UVP, was angesichts der Daten wirklich happig ist. Zum Glück liegen die UVP bei Samsung immer ein wenig übertrieben hoch, so dass sich der Preis ganz schnell bei 299 bis max. 350 € zum Verkaufsstart einpendeln wird.

Wer meinen Testbericht zum Samsung Galaxy S3 kennt (Link) weiß, dass ich zwar die Technik richtig gut finde, aber das Teil für ein echtes Highend zu langweilig und unauffällig gestylt ist. Dazu stehe ich nach wie vor. Und das Galaxy S3 Mini ist eine exakte Kopie des großen S3. Aber…

Und jetzt kommt was ich erwartet habe. Beim S3 Mini wirkt es alles andere als billig. Ganz im Gegenteil. Es ist irgendwie Sexy. Das Super AMOLED Display steht dem des S3 in nichts nach. Es ist halt nicht ganz so potent, aber es liegt wirklich saugut in der Hand. Beim herumspielen hat man keinen wesentlichen Unterschied zwischen einem S3 und dem S3 Mini erkennen. Mal sehen, wie sich das entwickelt, wenn man es mit Apps vollpackt.

Überhaupt ist mir auf diesem Event eines ganz deutlich aufgefallen. Viele der Besucher haben oberwichtig ein Galaxy S3 in der Hand gehalten und daran herumgefingert. Aber nur die wenigsten konnten damit wirklich umgehen. Eine junge Asiatin. Geschätzt halb so groß wie ich, hat ihr S3 öfter beinahe fallen lassen als ich mitzählen konnte. Und das war nur eines von vielen Beispielen.
