Vor kurzem hat Motorola das DROID X2 offiziell in einer Pressemitteilung angekündigt. Ab dem 19 Mai können Kunden beim Verizon Online Shop die ersten Geräte bestellen. Der Nachfolger des Droid X hat sich äußerlich kaum verändert, aber im Inneren hat das DROID X2 viele technische Verbesserungen bekommen. Zum Marktstart wird das DROID X2 mit der Android Version 2.2 Froyo ausgeliefert werden.
Es soll aber wie beim Motorola Atrix ein späteres Update auf Android 2.3 Gingerbread bekommen.
Das Droid X2 besitzt einen 1 GHz Dual Core Prozessor mit 512MB RAM und einen 8 GB großen interner Speicher. Es besitzt ein kratzfestes 4,3 Zoll großes qHD Touchscreen Display, hat eine 8 Megapixel Kamera auf der Rückseite mit HD Video Aufnahme Funktion.
Es besitzt zudem ein HDMI Anschluss mit Mirror Mode Funktion und einen 1540 mAh starken Akku..
Nun wir sich der Ein oder andere von euch fragen, warum wir überhaupt über so ein Gerät berichten, welches höchst wahrscheinlich hierzulande gar nicht erscheinen wird. Der Grund ist, weil es früher oder später auch ein Gerät von Motorola geben wird, das es vielleicht auch nach Europa schaffen könnte, wie zum Beispiel das Motorola Atrix.

Mein Absolutes Traum-Gerät. Schon das Droid X 1 war genial, das hier toppt nochmal alles. Das Design ist endlich der Leistung würdig. Kantig und Zweckmäßig, so hat ein Highendsmartphone auszusehen. Hoffentlich kommts nach Europa, wobei ich das eher nicht glaube…
