Motorola Mobility kündigt heute mit dem Motorola XT928 einen weiteren Multimedia Smartphone Boliden mit 4,5 Zoll HD Display für den Chinesischen Markt an. Bereits Mitte November hatten wir über das Motorola MT917 “In China kommt das Motorola RAZR mit 4,5 Zoll Display und 13 Megapixel“ berichtet, das Gerät wurde erst am Wochenende für China Mobile angekündigt. Das zweite Gerät, das Multimedia Smartphone Motorola XT928 ist für den Chinesischen Netzbetreiber China Telecom bestimmt.
Das XT928 wird von Motorola Mobility und von China Telecom ab Dezember dieses Jahres in ganz China neu eingeführt. Im Gegensatz zu dem am Wochenende angekündigten Motorola MT917, orientiert sich beim XT928, das Design, nicht am neuen RAZR. Das Gerät ist der vom Amerikanischen Netzbetreiber Verizon her bekannten Motorola DROID X Modellreihe sehr ähnlich. Das MT917 gehört zu den Triple dual Smartphones, es besitzt ebenfalls ein riesiges 4,5 Zoll Touchscreen Display mit 1280×720 HD Auflösung, eine 13 Megapixel Kamera mit 1080p HD Camkorder Funktionen und LED Flash und eine HD Kamera auf der Frontseite. Dazu rundet eine zusätzliche “Dolby Digital Plus Audio“ Zertifizierung das Atemberaubenden Multimedia Paket ab.
Bei der weiteren Technisch Ausstattung, orientierten sich Ingenieure und Software Entwickler weitgehend am Motorola RAZR. Das Motorola XT928 besitzt den gleichen 1,2 GHz Dual Core Prozessor mit 1 GB Arbeitsspeicher, sogar die meisten vom RAZR bekannten Anwendungen sind vorhanden, wie MotoCast, Smart Aktion und natürlich darf Motorolas einzigartige webtop Anwendung mit dem Zahlreichen USB/HDMI Peripherie Dock Zubehör, nicht fehlen. Zudem ist das Motorola MT917 Dual Mode Netzwerkfähig, für 3G WCDMA/GSM und für Wifi fähige Netzwerke. Damit wäre das Gerät eigentlich auch für den Einsatz in Europa geeignet. Zu guter Letzt beherrscht das Gerät auch noch Dual Standby, mit dieser Technik lassen sich zahlreiche Anwendungen schneller aus dem Standby Modus starten. Ausgeliefert wird das Motorola XT928 in China mit Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Nun wird sich der ein oder andere fragen, warum sehen wir dieses herausragende Gerät eigentlich nicht in Europa. Bisher hat Motorola Geräte dieser Größe in Europa nicht angeboten und den Markt kampflos der Konkurrenz überlassen. Das der Markt für solche Geräte auch in Europa reif ist, beweist das große Interesse für das Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Von der Technischen Ausstattung her spielt das Motorola XT928 bereits jetzt in der selben Liga. Jetzt muss Motorola so ein Gerät nur noch in Europa anbieten. Aber solange Motorola dies nicht tut, bleibt nur noch die Hoffnung, dass das Unternehmen so ein Gerät 2012 auch für Europa in Planung hat.
